Haier Pakistan has always availed the opportunity of promoting sports among all walks of life. Following the past trend, Haier Pakistan recently sponsored the National Basketball Championship; held at the Punjab Rangers’ Headquarters. 20 major team from all around the country participated in this tournament that saw some of the toughest matches in the history of the game in Pakistan. This tournament also saw the 20-years’ championship reign of Pakistan Army as it’ team was defeated by WAPDA’s national team in the final.

This tournament was celebrated and seen by thousands of spectators from all walks of life who fully enjoyed and cheered the teams up through out the tournament. In the closing ceremony, the higher officials of D.G. Punjab Rangers and the officials of the participating teams highly appreciated the role of played by Haier Pakistan for the last many years in highlighting the importance of sports and sportsman spirit in the country.
